Google No Longer Supports Internet Explorer 6

ie6Google announce to stop support for Internet Explorer 6 or IE6 and other old web browser. Starting March 1, 2010, Google site and some services are no longer able to displayed with these browsers.

“Many other companies have stopped supporting the older browsers like Internet Explorer 6.0, including a browser that is not supported by the manufacturer company. We also begin to abandon our support, starting from the Google Docs and Google Sites,” said Rajen Sheth, Google Apps Senior Product Manager in the Google enterprise blog.

Previously, Ars Technica site release, since August 2009, Google said it would end support for IE6 YouTube service and social network, Orkut. When IE6 users visited these services, they will be warned to immediately switch to the latest browser, such as IE8, Chrome, and Firefox.

However, Microsoft still provide support for IE6 patch until 8 April 2014.

Firefox 3.6 Finally Released, Claimed as The Best Browser
