Early 2011, HP Promises Smartphone webOS

HPHewlett-Packard Co. will introduce a smartphone in early 2011 with the operating system platform uses artificial webOS Palm. webOS is now a portfolio of HP after the acquisition of Palm worth 1.2 billion U.S. dollars earlier this year.

“You’ll see us come early next year with a new phone,” said HP senior vice president, Eric Cador, in an industry conference, in Barcelona, Spain, on Wednesday (06/10/2010).

HP buying Palm to strengthen its portfolio in fast-growing smartphone industry. “More importantly we acquired WebOS,” Cador said.

Currently, HP is the world’s largest technology companies based on revenue due to become the dominant force in industrial PCs, servers, services, and printers. The entry of plam will strengthen its market share in the rapidly growing smartphone now

Not BlackPad but BlackBerry Playbook

BB PLAYBOOKManufacturer BlackBerry, Research In Motion (RIM), Canada, finally announced a new device in the form of homemade tablet computer, on Monday (9/27/2010) in the event the RIM Developer Conference in San Francisco. If the previously rumored to BlackPad name, this new tablet was given the name of the BlackBerry Playbook.

Tablet Playbook with 7-inch screen, smaller than iPad Apple’s operating system QNX Software Systems is acquired RIM in the early years. Best Buy offers to install Google applications on mobile smartphone devices that are sold in its stores as the electronics retailer to attract buyers and overcome the competition.
