One of the new vendor of this product is HP.

Under Compaq brand, HP Airlife 100 netbook is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon ARM processor which found in many smart phones, including the Nexus One from Google.

Apparently, the difference between these two devices – smart phones and netbooks – was only on the screen and keyboard size are almost full-size on HP devices.

HP Airlife 100 has screen 10.1 “with a 16GB SSD which is supported by an SD card slot. Features Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS are embedded in this netbook. Wireless access via 3G causes HP have to partnered with Telefonica operators.

On the netbook arena, Android was not welcomed as glorious as smart phone. He was considered too light for netbook Operating System. However the good news is, it has impressive battery power. HP says it can stay active up 12 hours with standby time that reaches up to 10 days.

The HP Airlife 100 price has not been announced yet.
